**UPDATE** Angel was bred Feb 5th so we are expecting pups to arrive around Easter!!

We will have Angel bred to International Champion *Bear*in the next couple of weeks. Bear has a fabulous conformation, beautiful blocky head and calm, gentle, loving personality. Bear's hips are OFA EXCELLENT, Elbows normal, heart and eyes CLEAR. Bear is also both EIC and PRC'D negative, by DNA test results. CHIC certified. We are praying for a nice big, healthy litter come this spring.

Delaney Update

Our little Delaney found a new home just 10 miles away from us. They have 4 children ages, 13, 11, 9, & 7. We know there is not going to be any lack of love and attention for her with her new family!

Chet & Kelli are in their friends wedding tomorrow, so we'll be *puppy* sitting Gibson. Kelli brought him over yesterday and they spent the night. Chet & Kelli will be picking him up Saturday. He's only been gone from our home for 2 weeks, but boy has he grown!! Gibson is the sweetest boy and so obedient! He was thrilled to see his Momma, Angel and she looked quite happy to see him as well! They played so hard they both ended up napping for quite awhile. Here are some pictures from their playtime!

Myah and Annabell have been in Arizona for a week and a half now and have transitioned to their new home really well. Both are getting along great with all the other dogs and people at Arizona Goldens. Here are a few pictures we took of them when they were at the airport on May 28th.

Erinn Update

We feel bad because we never posted about Erinn going to her new home in Kentucky on Memorial Day. She met her new Momma, Pam who was very excited to finally get her. Pam contacted us many months ago in hopes of getting a puppy from us. Erinn's trip went really well and she arrived in Kentucky safe and sound. The first picture is quite blurry of Erinn because she was all excited and wouldn't be still for her picture to be taken :o)

In less than an hour we will be on our way to the airport with two of our pups. Annabell is 8 weeks old and Myah is 5 1/2 months old. Both puppies will be invloved in a 2 year training program with Arizona Goldens to become service dogs. We are so excited for the help they will be giving to people with disabilities. Timber in Vermont!

This morning we took Timber to the airport. Kristina had him on her lap most of the time. We didn't want to put him in his crate since he would have to be in it for a few hours when he flew. He slept most of the way on our two plus hour trip. He is such a sweet boy!! We forgot to bring the camera. He looked so cute all cuddled up and sleeping on the seat.

We just received a phone call from Mr. G. saying Timber arrived safely. What an answer to prayer! Thank You, LORD!

8 Weeks Old!

Puppies are 8 weeks old today. They are getting so big and have such sweet personalities! They are such fast little runners now and have great fun in making us chase them all around the yard. Tomorrow, Timber will be flying to his new home in Vermont. Saturday, Annabell will be flying to her new home in Arizona, and Monday, Erinn will be flying to her new home in Kentucky. We had our last photo shoot with the puppies this afternoon. Kind of sad :o(

It's going to be really quite around here for the next few months. Lord willing, we'll have a new litter arriving the end of summer. We plan to breed Avery with Cedar. They are going to make beautiful puppies. We're excited to see them!!

Green Girl Goes Home!

Our little *Green Girl* got to meet her new family today. The *H* family has gotten a puppy from us before. Last spring, we met this wonderful Christian homeschooling family when they came out to buy one of Mufassa & Angel's pups. Her name was *Honey*. She was so sweet, the name fit her perfectly. Unfortunately, several months after having Honey, there was a terrible accident. Honey was hit by a car and killed. When the family told us what had happened, we were all devastated.

The kids decided they wanted to have a small Christmas so they could save up money to buy a new puppy. We emailed the *H* family and told them Angel & Mufassa would be having puppies again this spring. They were really excited and said they wanted to get another little girl from us. Both parents kept the secret of getting a new puppy from the kids until just an hour before they arrived to our home today! It was so fun to see them all again. The kids were really excited to meet their new family member. Green Girl went home nameless because they want to decide as a family, the perfect name for this little gal. As soon as they decide, we'll let ya'll know :o) Blessings to you *H* family and puppy!

Missing 6 week old post ~ Returned!

The computer is being very strange. The missing post for their 6 week old update mysteriously showed up again this morning so I am re-posting it!

Our furry little friends are six weeks old today. Friday they will go to the vet for their first vet check and 6 week shots. They are all growing like weeds and learning new things every day. Yesterday and today was quiet warm here so we brought out the kiddy pool and put some water in it for the pups to play in. They had so much fun! We made a little video of them, but for some reason we were unable to upload it and put it on here. I'm sorry! I took some random pictures of them all playing and having fun with their new toys. 7 Weeks Old!!

The puppies are 7 weeks old today. They are really enjoying their time playing outside now. They love running and jumping in and out of the swimming pool. They are retrieving pretty good too. Vet Visit

Just a quick little update on the pups visit with the vet last Friday. All the puppies got a clean bill of health. They had their 6 weeks shots and did excellent. Not even a whimper from any of them! Gibson, (aka *Tan Boy*) was our biggest at 11 lbs 6 oz. Annabell, (aka *Pink Girl*) is our smallest at 9lbs 2 oz. They are all healthy, thriving, and doing wonderfully well. PRAISE THE LORD!!

6 Weeks Old!

I posted a 6 week old update just two days ago and for some reason it has disappeared from here. I have no idea what happened???? The puppies are going to the vet this afternoon for their 6 week check up and shots. I can't wait to find out how much they weigh. The are growing so fast. Green girl will be going to her new home next week and three will leave the week after that. Gibson will stay with us until the first week in June. The weather here today was wonderful. We took all the pups outside to get some fresh air, play, and explore. They just love picking up the sticks and prancing proudly around with them. Half the time, the sticks they choose are bigger than they are!! They also meet someone new today, our kitty, Dawson. They loved him, A LOT! They ganged up on him, licked him til he was soaked, and even bit his tale! All the while, Dawson just laid there and tolerated it all. Bless his heart! Here are some pictures we took. ENJOY!

We have a wonderful little guy ready for his forever home. Sawyer was born 12.14.10. He has a very stocky build with a nice blocky head. He has the greatest personality and gets along with everyone. He LOVES to retrieve and is a very quick learner. He is currently being crate and obedience trained. He is UTD on all his vaccines. He comes with a full health guarantee.

5 Weeks Old!!

We just finished our photo shoot with the puppies. This is a REALLY fun age! They are so playful and energetic. They love to run after you, attack each other, do little play bows, and CHEW on their toys. The boys seemed to be far more interested in playing today, while the girls loved posing for their pictures. They have enjoyed going outside every day and exploring the farm. After their time outside they take LONG naps. Once rested, they're ready to go again! Only 3 more weeks and they'll all be going to their new homes. All the puppies have names now, except Green girl. They still haven't decided on just the right name for her. Enjoy today's pictures..............

4 Weeks Old!!

Our little darlings are already a month old today. In just 4 short weeks, they'll all be leaving to go to their new homes :o( It's always a bittersweet time for us. We are so thankful that the Lord always brings just the right family for each puppy. He is so faithful!
On a side note, we went out for lunch and when we came home, 3 puppies escaped the pool. Two were hiding behind it, and one was hiding in a little decorative box by the french doors. It was so cute. I wish I would have had my camera so I could have taken a picture. Now that they have started to get out of the safety of their pool, we will be moving them down to their large kennel area that Michael built in our basement. They'll have a lot more room to run around and play and we won't have to worry about them getting out and wander about unsupervised.

2 Weeks Old!

Puppies are two weeks old already. It's been an exciting week because they have changed SO much!! Their eyes are opened, but not 100% yet. Their ears are opened and they turn their heads toward you when you talk to them. They are walking on all fours instead of scooting around. Granted, they are still wobbly, but they're trying! They are pretty vocal, which we love! They are getting *LOTS* of cuddle time. This time around, we have no particular *favorite*. They are ALL too sweet for words. I've uncluded 3 pictures of each puppy. The first one is named and the next two that follow are the same pup. Enjoy the pictures :o)

Blue Boy is a real cuddler. He's laid back, but he also loves to play.

Tan is his own man. He likes to eat all day and sleep all night!!

It's hard to believe the puppies are already a week old. They are doing very well and growing super fast. Their weights range from 2.4 lbs to 2.10 lbs. Tan boy and Pink girl are the biggest, both at 2lbs 10 oz. They are already showing their little personalities. They are super sweet!! Enjoy the pictures :o)

Last night went really well for Angel and the pups. She had all 5 puppies in 2 1/2 hours! She's a fantastic mother. We are so proud of her. We weighed the puppies this morning and they have already gained 1-3 oz and they are not even 24 hours old yet! We have 3 girls and 2 boys, the exact number and gender that are reserved! They are wonderfully healthy and nursing like champs!! Angel hasn't had any since 8:00, so I think she is done. Angel's temp has been down consistently for 24 hours now. She is starting to nest and has little episodes of panting. This is just how labor started last time. So, we are hoping and praying that tomorrow will bring forth lots of healthy puppies.

Angel is still very much pregnant. The puppies are moving constantly. I think our thermometer must be old because last night and today her temps have been back up around 99.2 - 99.5. We have a vet appointment tomorrow so he will check her out. She is continuing to sleep and rest a lot and will only eat her food if we scramble her up some eggs and mix them in with her food. She gets very picky at the end of her pregnancy! That's OK, she deserves to be pampered right now. She is such a sweet girl and a wonderful momma. I can't wait to meet her new *crew* :o)

My husband and youngest daughter are on their way home as I type. They went to pick up our new stud dog. From what they tell me, he is beautiful. I can't wait to see him. We've only seen him in pictures up to this point. He is 15 months old. Our daughter, Kaitlyn will be training him and showing him. I think we have finally agreed on his name, *Cedar* We've given him 3 other names since we decided to purchase him, but none have seemed to stick. We'll see if this last one does! We probably won't take pictures of him until some time tomorrow. I'll post them as soon as I can.

Thanks to my computer whiz of a husband, our email is working once again. Thank you dear!

Angel had a very restless night last night. She didn't sleep much and couldn't get comfortable. This morning, her temp is still down and she has gotten sick, twice. She is refusing food right now and sleeping A LOT. Her babies are moving all over the place. They must be getting anxious to make their appearance. I'll update as things progress. Keep praying!

Is today the day???

Well, today is Angel's official due date. She could go for another 7-9 days though. We take her temp daily. As soon as it drops below 99 and stays there, labor generally begins within 24 hours. We're praying it isn't going to happen in the middle of the night! With her last litter, I told her she couldn't have them until after 8 a.m. Being the very obedient dog that she is, she didn't start having them until 9:30 a.m. She is such a good listener! Let's hope she obeys again. We'll keep you posted. Prayers appreciated!!

P.S. Our email is down so we are unable to receive or send anything right now. We're hoping to have it up and running by tonight when Michael gets home. With that said, if you're waiting for information on Angel and the puppies, you'll have to check here since I can't email. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Angel is due in 3-4 days. We can sit and watch her puppies moving inside her. It's pretty amazing!! We are taking her daily temp and watching for signs of impending birth. She spends most of her days sleeping. She has to be with us all the time now. If we leave the room, she is generally right behind us :o) Here are some pictures we took of her this evening. CERF Testing

Last Thursday we took both girls, Angel & Krissy to the Ophthalmologist to have their annual eye testing done. We are happy to report that both of them passed their CERF(Canine Eye Registration Foundation), test and have no signs of PRA, (Progressive Retinal Atrophy). It is always a relief to know that our dogs are in good health.

Angel is getting bigger by the day. She really has a waddle when she walks now! Poor girl has a hard time getting up from lying down. She's got 13 days left until her due date. Please pray the labor and birth go smoothly and the puppies will all be born strong and healthy.

This morning at 10:00, Quincy's new owners came to pick him up. With all the excitement, we forgot to take pictures :o( Everyone seemed quite happy. We know Quincy, now named after his Daddy, Moof, will be very happy with his new family! It is such fun to be able to give so much joy to a family with the gift of a puppy.

Late last night as we sleep, a wonderful Christian family found our website and reserved Quincy! I talked with them this morning and they sound like a perfect family for him! The funny thing in all this is that they want to re-name Quincy, Mufassa and call him *Moof* for short, just like his Daddy! It's funny because we have always called him mini Moof because he looks and acts just like his Dad. This was meant to be. Thank you, Lord! They will be picking him up on Friday.

Sydney's new owners came to pick her up today. I don't know who was happier to see who? Sydney was quite excited, but so were her new owners. It has been fun growing her up, loving her, training her, and now handing her over to her new forever home. CONGRATULATIONS Dean, Kim, & Sydney!

Maddie has found a forever home. Lord willing, Maddie will be flying out to Dover, Deleware next week. She is going to be living on a farm. From what her new owners shared with us, she is going to be spoiled rotten! Just what we like to hear :o)

Sydney's new parents will be picking her up on Sunday. She's also going to be a spoiled little girl and a new friend to their chocolate Lab.

We just have Quincy left to find a home for. He is such a sweet boy. He is so calm and loving. I pray someone finds it in their heart to adopt him soon. He's going to be lonely with all his litter mates leaving him.

Angel day 38

This is our Momma to be, Angel. Today she is day 38 of her pregnancy, which is about half way to her due date. As you can see, she is sporting a nice little round tummy. She is enjoying her daily walks and supervised play time. She isn't allowed to get too wound up as to cause injury to herself or her precious cargo!

I can not believe these little cuties are already 10 weeks old!! We only have sweet little Maddie and Quincy left to find forever homes for. They are learning basic commands and doing really well at it. They love to obey because then they know they get a treat :o) Here are this weeks pictures.

We're really excited to learn that Arizona Goldens has chosen Myah to also be a part of their team! Her brother Shiloh, and our 11 month old Apsen, went to Arizona just a couple of weeks ago. Myah will be staying here until Angel's puppy that AZ Goldens has reserved, is ready to go. In the mean time, our girls will be training her and getting her ready for her new life as a service dog.

Angel's Pregnancy Test

We wanted to know for sure if the breeding between Angel & Mufassa was successful, so we took her to the vet this afternoon. The veteranarian palpatated her and said she is most definitely bred. We also took a blood test that confirmed it!! Her due date is March 23rd. YIPPEE!! We are all so excited. Mufassa & Angel make the most beautiful puppies.This is the last breeding for this pair so If you'd like to reserve a puppy, please do so quickly. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd pick females and 2nd pick male are already reserved.

Aspen, is 11 months old. He is a pup we kept from Angel & Mufassa's last litter. We planned on keeping him forever because he is such an amazing dog. However, when we were asked if he could be used as a service dog, we couldn't say no. He is perfect for the job! He is extremely loving, loyal, and obedient. He loves people, so he will be great at his job. I know I'll be in tears at the airport when we have to leave :o(

Shiloh, is just 8 1/2 weeks old. He is from our current litter from Mufassa & Krissy. He is also a wonderful little guy, very personable! We know he is going to grow up to be a great service dog as well. He is the leader of the pack and loves to explore. Both he, and Aspen are going to be missed a lot!!

8 Weeks Old!

Yesterday the puppies turned 8 weeks old. We can't believe how fast that time has went. We took them to the vet for their first check up and vaccines. They all did really well. Not one of them so much as whimpered when they got their shots. Our vet is the best!!While at the vet, the pups were weighed. WOW! Sawyer topped the scales at......are you ready for this?...........15.2 pounds!!!!!!!! Our sweet little Myah was 11.8 pounds. She is the runt. We tell her, "It's OK, good things come in small packages!

Snow Time!!

The puppies got to experience something new today.........SNOW! As you can see by the pictures, they loved it!! They got a hold of the sled and tried with all their might to pull it, only to no avail. We let them run for about 15 minutes. I think they are a little tuckered out from all their hard play because, at this very moment, they are sound to sleep and snoring!

7 Weeks Old

Today our sweet little furballs are 7 weeks old. I have never seen such a chubby bunch. Krissy must have cream instead of milk! We weighed our bigged boy, (Sawyer) last night. He topped the scales at 13 lbs!

They are at the really fun stage now. They love chasing you around the room, playing fetch, and learnning a few simple commands. Most of all they love just spending time with people. They so enjoy giving puppy kisses :o) If they wagged their tales any faster, we think it would take flight! LOL I have to say, this litter has been our most loving. They are happy just sitting in your lap being cuddled.

6 Weeks Old

Today the puppies are 6 weeks old. They have changed a lot this past week. They have TONS of energy and have learned to bark very well. Ha Ha! They sleep less and play more. They are on puppy food mostly now. Krissy has been weaning them all week and they do NOT like that! Every time they see Mom, they want a snack!

If you live locally, or want to pick up your puppy, they will be ready to go to their new homes on February 1st. If they have to be shipped, they will be ready to travel on February 8th. All deposits can be placed through our website located here: http://www.autumnacreslabradors.com/Puppies.html

Mufassa & Angel Puppies

Angel is in heat and we will be breeding her to Mufassa this week. There are already three puppies spoken for in this upcoming litter. This will be our last litter with these parents, so if you want one of their puppies, reserve them NOW! They will be born around mid to late March and ready to go to their new homes mid to late May. Mufassa has a gorgeous blocky head and *49* CHAMPIONS in his pedigree, including JR & Master hunters. Angel also has a beautiful blocky head, and very broad chest. They make show quality puppies together.

5 Weeks Old

Today the puppies are 5 weeks old! The time has really flown by with these little ones. I think their favorite thing to do this past week was E*A*T!!! They love their puppy chow :o) Each puppy's personality has really come forth this week. With each picture, I'll tell you a little more about who they really are. Some are more outgoing, some more reserved, but all LOVE to be held and loved on.

Maddie, is a little go getter! Sweet yet very inquisitive.

Myah is a cuddler all the way. She likes to be next to you all the time.
She's pretty quiet and content.

Sydney is a little spitfire! She wags her tail as fast as she can, runs,
and loves to give puppy kisses.

Quincy is laid back and pretty calm. He LOVES lots of attention.

~Sawyer~

Sawyer is first born. He is VERY laid back and VERY affectionate. A total momma’s boy!

He is also our BIGGEST boy.

~Shiloh~

Shiloh is a little more outgoing compared to the other two boys.

He comes right away when you call him.

He was chosen to be a service dog in Arizona.

Well, that's our gang. We love them all and know that each one of them will make wonderful family pets. They'll be ready to go to their new homes in just 2 short weeks.

Since today is the puppies 1 month birthday, we did something special for them. We introduced them to solid food. You can tell by the pictures that they enjoyed it immensely! They got right in the dish, feet first and gobbled it down as fast as they could. After their meal, the rolled over to their sleeping area and passed out!

The puppies are 4 weeks old today! They are getting cuter and fatter by the week. They are so much fun at this age. They come when you call their name. Their tails wag when you talk to them. They play and wrestle with each other. They cry when you leave them. This weekend they will get their first taste of puppy food. That's always an exciting, messy time! As of yesterday, our puppies are already 3 weeks old.They have grown into cuddly, fuzzy, rolly-polly butterballs!!! They are SO cute! Shiloh and our older puppy, Aspen have been chosen to be service dogs with Arizona Goldens. We feel quite privileged that they have chosen our puppies as a part of their wonderful program. We know our dogs will do a great job and be a blessing to the people they will be helping.

We'll get some new pictures posted sometime this week. You won't believe how much they have grow in just one week!

We've gotten a few emails asking "Where are the pictures of the puppies???" The answer is, "In the camera"! We actually took them last week, but have just been too busy to download them and get them posted. So, since the puppies will be 2 weeks old tomorrow, we decided to just wait to post any pictures until tomorrow. We will take their two week shots and post them. WE PROMISE!!

They are just now beginning to open their eyes slightly. This litter of pups has to be by far the *chubbiest* litter yet!! They are almost as round as they are long! Krissy must has cream instrad of milk :o) They are all such cuddlers. They nuzzle into your neck and just sigh a sigh of contentment. Needless to say, we're all in puppy heaven!

We're having our first *official* photo shoot of the puppies tomorrow since they will be one week old. I couldn't resist doing a little sneek peak of one of them. This is *Quincy* Isn't he CUTE?!?!?! The girls named them all. The boys are *Quincy*, *Shiloh*, and *Sawyer*. The girls are *Myah*, *Maddie*, & *Sydney*.

Krissy and her little ones are doing wonderful. Everyone is healthy, praise God! Here are a few pictures of them. As they get a little bigger, we'll add more. Needless to say, we are all in puppy heaven! Each new litter is so much fun and each puppy is so different. We really love what we do!!

At 4:47 p.m. Krissy gave birth to her first puppy, a little boy. He weighed in at exactly 1 lb. Since then she has had two more little boys, and three little girls. So, that's 3 girls and 3 boys! All healthy and nursing like champs!!! Praise the LORD!!

Krissy is about 2 weeks from her due date now. She is getting rounder by the day. She still loves to go for her morning runs, only now it takes her a little longer :o) Her puppies are due (around) December 14th. We have everything ready to go. All we need now is warm, fuzzy, puppies!!

Meadow was born here on our farm on April 26th. She is 6 months old today! She is super loving and full of personality. She has gone through her first level of obedience training. She is a beautiful girl and almost pure white in color. Her father (who we used to own) has 39 CHAMPIONS in his pedigree. He, himself is a UKC Champion. Her mother is our sweet Krissy. Our family has made the decison to sell her. Meadow would make a wonderful family pet.

All the puppies have now found their new homes. We are so happy that the Lord provided loving families for each of them. We kept two for ourselves, Meadow and Aspen. This is not something we planned, we just couldn't let them go. I guess you can say that I'm a softie when it comes to lab puppies! :o)

Meadow, is almost pure white in color and is going to be small like her momma, Krissy. She is a little spitfire and full of energy!! Our daughter, Kristina is in charge of her training.

Aspen is GORGEOUS and BIG!! We took him to the vet today for his 16 week shots and he weighed in at 36.6 lbs! The vet said he is going to be around 90 lbs when he is full grown! He will strart his formal obedience classes tomorrow. Our daughter, Kaitlyn is training him.

Since Meadow was an only *puppy* in her litter, we've spent a lot of extra time with her so she wouldn't be lonely. We've also had her with the older puppies from time to time so they could *knock* her around a bit. We didn't want her to be a whimp! Anyway, after much discussion, we've decided to raise her up, train her, and find her a forever family. She really is a sweet little white butterball. We took her to the vet today for her check up and shots. She did very well. She weighed in at 9lbs 2 oz! She's short, stocky, and a little spitfire!!

On another note, Briar, also went to the vet for her check up before her flight to Georgia on Wednesday. She weighed in at 21lbs 4 oz!!!! She's a happy, healthy, girl. I know her new family are looking forward to meeting her soon.

Both of our girls, Brair & Budders have found forever homes. I feel bad because Budders left today at noon with her new *momma* and we forgot to take a picture :o( Sorry, Pam! I'm sure Budders, (now known as Lucy) will be very happy in Rochester with you and Tom!

Our sweet girl, Briar (now known as Bunni) is heading south! Her new family lives in Summerville, Georgia. She will be flying out on June 9th.

So, all we have left are the two *fellas*. They are such beautiful dogs (if I do say so myself). They both have great temperaments, and would make wonderful hunters, and/or family pets!

This is Briar with her favorite toy, a mitten. She is hilarious to watch when she is shaking this mitten around. This girl loves to play!

This is Budders. She loves attention and always wants you to play with her. Many times she will crawl up in your arms and just fall asleep!
This is Honey, our BIGGEST girl. She is so sweet. She is a cuddler, but also very playful & fun.

This is Cedar. He is by far the most mellow of the bunch. He will wait patiently for all the other puppies to get attention and then will come up to you for his turn. This is Aspen, our BIGGEST boy! He is a BIG teddy bear who loves to cuddle!

I thought it would be a good time to post some updated pictures of our other *kids* also known as the puppies. They are at a really fun stage now, running, playing, and giving lots of kisses. They do anything they can just to be with you. They are already learning to sit, stay, lay, and being crate trained a bit. They have so much personality and are so different from each other.

This morning Sanders, now known as *SAM* and his sister, Willow, went to their forever homes. Willow went all the way to Iowa! It was a sad, yet happy time. God picked the perfect families for these sweet little puppies. They will be missed by us, but loved by them!

Last Saturday, April 24th, we moved to our new home. We purchased an older farm house on 6 1/2 acres. The property is beautiful with lots of room for us and the dogs to roam :o) The move went great and the puppies handled it really well. Everyone is adjusting to our new location. Last night we had a bit of a surprise, Krissy gave birth to her first litter! She had a small litter of only 2 little girls! They are so cute and almost snow white in color. Krissy is already back to her energetic self. She's a very nurturing momma, loving and cleaning her pups constantly. These little girls will be ready for their new home on June 14th.
